How to play Blackjack:
Select the chip value with which you want to bet. Place your bet(s) by clicking on one or more of the bet positions. Once a chip is placed, click on the same or a different chip to increase the bet. Click Undo to remove the last placed bet(s). Click Clear Bets to remove all placed bets. Press Deal to start the hand. The dealer will receive 1 card, and you will receive 2 cards. Standard options such as Hit and Stand are available. The option to Split or Double depends on the cards dealt and appears when relevant according to the rules. The option to take Insurance appears when the dealer shows an Ace. Click Rebet after the hand is finished to repeat your previous bet. Click New Game to clear your previous bet for the next hand.
Table limits: Minimum and maximum betting limits apply only to the initial bet. Actions (such as splitting, insurance, etc., if applicable) that require an additional bet can still be used even if you have placed a bet equal to the maximum bet.
Card values: Cards 2 through 10 have their face value. Jack (J), Queen (Q), and King (K) are worth 10 points. The Ace has a value of 1 or 11. If an Ace in the hand is considered as 11, the hand is referred to as "soft."
Game rules: General rules: This version of Blackjack is played with 5 standard decks of cards. The objective is to obtain a higher total card value than the dealer.
If this is the case, the player is paid 1:1, unless the player has Blackjack, in which case they are paid 3:2. Otherwise, the player loses the bet, or in the case of a tie, it's a push. Players are allowed to Hit until they Bust or decide to Stand. The dealer must Hit on all hands totaling 16 or less, and Stand on all hands totaling 17 or more.
Push rules: A tie occurs when both the player and the dealer have the same total points. In the event of a tie, the player's initial bet is returned.
Blackjack rule: If the first two cards that the player or the dealer receives are an Ace and a card with a value of 10, the hand is called Blackjack. If the player gets Blackjack, they stand. If the dealer does not get Blackjack, the player is paid 3:2. If the dealer gets Blackjack, all hands that do not also have Blackjack lose. There is no offer to take even money when the dealer has a visible Ace and the player already has Blackjack.
Double rule: Players can double on the first two cards of any hand. When a player doubles, their bet amount is doubled, and they receive only one card.
Splitting rule:
A player can split when they have a hand consisting of two cards of the same value.
A player cannot split cards with different 10 values.
When splitting Aces, only one additional card per Ace is drawn.
If a player draws a card with a value of 10 after splitting Aces, the result is considered as 21 and not Blackjack.
A player can only split once per hand.
Doubling after splitting is allowed.
Insurance rule: If the dealer's first card is an Ace, a player can choose to take insurance by placing a bet equal to half of their original bet. The insurance bet is a secondary bet. Insurance bets pay out 2:1 if the dealer gets Blackjack. If the dealer does not get Blackjack, the player loses the insurance bet.
Surrender rule: There is no surrender option in this version of Blackjack.
