BLACKJACK ATLANTIC CITY
RULES OF PLAY
Blackjack Atlantic City is another take on the classic blackjack game.
To start playing, select a wager and press BET AND DEAL.
To play with more than one hand at the same time (up to 4), click on the circles of each hand you want to bet, then press DEAL.
The game deals two cards per hand and two others to the dealer (one of them covered).
When the dealer’s upcard is an Ace, blackjack insurance will be provided. The game can continue without insurance or else activate it in the chosen hands.
When the player takes insurance, an additional bet is made amounting to half of that hand’s bet. When the dealer has a blackjack, insurance pays 2:1.
In each hand, the player can STAND or HIT, taking further cards without exceeding 21.
The player can DOUBLE DOWN when having two cards. This doubles the bet for that hand, deals another card and stands.
When a hand has two cards of equal value, it can be SPLIT. The two cards are divided and an extra card is dealt to each one. What was one hand becomes two. When splitting two Aces, one extra card is dealt to each Ace and the hand stands automatically.
In a hand, a player can choose to SURRENDER after checking their two first cards. The hand is not played in the game and half of the bet is recovered.
Once the player has made their plays, the dealer will only hit while bellow 17 (and if at least one player hand has not busted).
The player WINS with those hands that have not gone over 21 and are above the dealer’s total. In this case, the player will receive a 1:1 payout. If the player and the dealer have the same total, the outcome is PUSH and the player recovers the bet.
If the player gets 21 points on the first two cards (i.e. An Ace and a 10), this play is called BLACKJACK and it wins over a 21 achieved with 3 or more cards.
The player can start a new game choosing a bet and clicking on any of the hands or tapping on “rebet or “rebet and deal”.
