Neon Blackjack 7
NEON BLACKJACK 7
GAME DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVE
In Blackjack, the player's goal is to beat the dealer by having a hand with a score closer to 21 than the dealer's hand, without exceeding it. In this version, the player can play with up to seven independent hands.
GAME RULES
- Only one split per hand is allowed.
- The dealer is required to STAY if their hand reaches 17 or more.
- The player can DOUBLE their bet only with hands of 9, 10, or 11 points.
- A card is required when the player's hand has a score of 11 or less.
CARDS
In this game, 8 decks of 52 cards each are used. The cards are always shuffled at the end of each round.
- 2 to 10: These cards are worth the number shown.
- Jack, Queen, and King: The "face" cards are always worth 10 points.
- Ace: Can be worth 1 or 11. The Ace will always take the most advantageous value for the hand.
For example, an Ace + 7 can be worth either 8 or 18. If the player decides to STAY, meaning no more cards are dealt, the hand will be valued at 18 (the closest value to 21). If the player requests another card, the assumed value will again be the closest to 21. Let's say the player has an Ace + 7 + 5, the final value of the hand will be 13. If the player has an Ace + 7 + 2, the final value will be 20.
The suit of the cards has no influence on the game.
The player (and the dealer) is considered to have a Blackjack only when the first two cards are an Ace + a 10-point card.
HOW TO BET
There are 7 betting areas and 5 chips with values corresponding to the local currency.
The player can bet any amount they wish on each hand, as long as it respects the minimum and maximum bet limits set by the game.
If the dealer's visible card is an Ace, the player can buy insurance for each of their hands (except for Blackjacks). If the player has a Blackjack, they can choose to collect the bet or compete against the dealer.
If the player has a Blackjack and the dealer’s visible card is a 10 or a face card, no payment is made, and the player must continue playing until the end to see the result.
INSURANCE: Insurance costs half of the original bet and pays 2 to 1 if the dealer has a Blackjack. Whatever decision is made for one hand, it applies to hands resulting from a split of the original hand.
COLLECT: Blackjacks are not eligible for insurance, in which case the player can choose not to compete with the dealer, recovering 1 to 1 and the initial bet is returned.
HOW TO PLAY
Once the chips are in place, click DEAL to start the game and deal the first two cards that make up the hand.
The dealer will have one card face up, while the player will always have both cards hidden from the dealer.
HIT: The player receives an additional card. The player can hit as many times as they want until the total exceeds 21. If this happens (Bust), the hand loses, and the cards are immediately removed. If the sum of the cards equals 21, the hand will automatically STAY.
STAY: With this option, the player decides to keep the current result of the hand to compete with the dealer's hand. When the player chooses to STAY on a hand, the game automatically moves to the next hand or, if it's the only or last hand played, moves to the dealer's turn.
DOUBLE: The player can choose to double their bet before requesting another card. When this option is chosen, only one card is dealt. Doubling is only allowed with a score of 9, 10, or 11.
SPLIT: If the first two cards have equal numbers/values (2 Aces, 2 Sevens, 1 Ten and 1 King, etc.), the player can split the hand into two independent hands. This option requires an additional bet equal to the initial bet. After splitting, the player can request more cards to play their hands normally. If the split hand is an Ace, only one additional card can be requested. Only one split per original hand is allowed.
When splitting a pair of Aces, if the additional card is worth 10, it is not considered a Blackjack. It will be counted as a regular 21.
SURRENDER: The player can choose to surrender a hand and receive half of their bet back. In this case, the cards are immediately removed, and the payout is made. Surrender is not possible if the dealer's card is an Ace.
RESULTS
The dealer plays their turn after all player decisions. The dealer must STAY when their hand totals 17 or more.
After the dealer plays, the comparison of the player's hand with the dealer's hand begins. The winning hand will always be the one closest to 21. If a hand has a Blackjack, that hand will always win even against a hand totaling 21.
A regular win pays 1 to 1, and the initial bet is returned.
A win with a Blackjack pays 3 to 2, and the initial bet is returned.
In case of a tie (even between Blackjacks), the initial bet is returned.
The overall total and/or the total of the insurance won will always be displayed at the end of each round, and the player's balance will be updated.
